Tiffany Puggi

In February of 2006 when Tiffany Puggi first saw Dr. Quinones, her mother Betty Ann recollects him saying ‘You know your daughter is a miracle.’ Last year, Dr. Quinones reconstructed Tiffany’s skull in the operating room and one week after surgery, Tiffany was out of a wheelchair for good. According to her mother, Tiffany still has trouble reading and constructing sentences, but she manages at home by herself. Her mother is impressed with her progress.

  • Tiffany, Betty Ann, I, too, had a significant head trauma injury, in March '04. I am near 99% recovered, with only a simple speech slip-up here and there (oh, and I always forget to zip up my pants now). I hope you continue to enjoy life as I do, and eve more so.

  • Hi...I am so glad that the good folks at JHMC were able to help you. God works everyday through the hands of doctors and nurses! And it is a blessing that our bodies are designed to continue to mend and get better. Keep looking up! God Bless you

  • I know exactly that it is like to be a young girl scared for her life in a hospital. You are so strong and that is rare in such a young person. Stay positive, wishing you all the best.

  • I saw the first episode of Hopkins, and was so scared for you. Especially after your surgery, you were shaking so badly. Are you doing better now?
